Columns

There are those who don’t realize it, even those who do not acknowledge it but, our lives are supported by a matrix of columns. Each is a person who has performed deeds or supplied some kind of support to help us move forward.

Some are thin pillars representing small or one time deeds while others are sturdy, reflecting those who give continuous support. Despite their size, each one is precious and should be both preserved and reciprocated. You must nurture them to make them grow while ignoring them will make the brittle.

If a pillar is allowed to erode and fall, so too will all it supports. Support those who support you most, for if you do not, you will have lost a pillar of strength you may unknowingly need; the impact of that loss may have a rippling effect in the present or the unknown future.
